Coach Mercado is a life-long resident of Newburgh, NY. His love for competitive video gaming started back in 2007 at the age of 13.
The first game he competed in was Gears of War for Major League Gaming.

Coach Mercado first got involved in coaching baseball six years ago, but then started to take an interest in coaching E-Sports in the Hudson Valley.

He has won too many tournaments online and offline to list, as he has been playing more than one game competitively since 2007. 

Coach Mercado is also a proud father and is looking forward to grow the E-Sports program at DCC.
