Dutchess Community College Athletics

Coach Sanfilippo, a lifelong native of Newburgh, New York, comes to the Falcons from Mount Saint Mary College, where, as Assistant Coach, he helped lead the Knights to a conference championship, 5 conference finals and 10 conference semi-finals in 13 years.

Coach Sanfilippo's ties to volleyball in the Hudson Valley run deep, stretching back more than 30 years, 15 years running Hudson Valley Volleyball, an outdoor program for youths and adults, 13 years at MSMC and 9 years coaching youth club teams.

Coach Sanfilippo has been an organizer, head coach, and player in the Empire State Games Masters Division Volleyball program from 1994-2010. During that time, Coach Sanfilippo has helped the Hudson Valley region earn two gold medals and seven bronze medals.
