Box Score 2 POUGHKEEPSIE, NY - The Falcons and Orange County Community College split their doubleheader on Thursday, with a game one Dutchess win 10-9 and a 7-5 Orange victory.

In game one, the Falcons tallied ten hits led by multi-hit games from
Alyjah Cruz,
Nicole Winglovitz,
Sara Ruiz, and
Sierra Ramos, with Winglovitz and Ruiz adding three RBI each. Cruz and Ramos each added a run batted in as well.
Trailing 8-1 heading into the bottom of the fourth, DCC rallied for 7 runs to take back the lead.
Alyssa Macario earned the win for DCC as she tossed six innings, allowing five runs, five hits, and striking out two. She came in to pitch in relief of Winglovitz who started the game. She went one inning, allowing four runs, and zero hits.
In game two, Dutchess and Orange played another tight game The Falcons were ahead 4-3 heading into the seventh when the Colts took the lead, bolstered by a home run by Elizabeth Hannold off of
Alyjah Cruz.

Cruz took the loss in this one. She finished her complete game outing allowing seven runs, ten hits, and striking out five.
Offensively, the Falcons had eight hits.
Danielle Kauffman, Ruiz, and Travis each had multi-hit games with Kauffman, Cruz, Macario, and Ruiz each driving in one run to lead the charge.
Stephanie Manly and Sydney Hendershot led the Colts offense by each collecting multiple hits for Orange.
Next on the schedule for the Falcons is a road doubleheader against Suffolk on Saturday, April 15th.
