Box Score WAPPINGERS FALLS, NY - Seven runs in the first inning led Dutchess baseball past Rockland CC 10-1 on Thursday.

Amarali Khan led DCC going 1-for-3 with three runs batted in. Other big contributors offensively were Isiah Nugent who drove in a pair of runs and Eric Merrill who went 2-for-3 and scored two runs.

The Falcons were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error behind starting pitcher Josh Rosario who fired four scoreless innings of two-hit ball, while striking out two. Brandon Greenspan and Brian Santiago finished off Rockland over the final three innings allowing just a single run to secure the victory for Dutchess.
