Freshman Cole Broughton started on the mound for DCC and went 4 innings giving up 4 runs on only 1 hit. Dutchess took control of the game early, after a run scored for Lackawanna in the top of the 3rd the Falcons responded with a 3-run inning for themselves to take the lead. Lackawanna battled back scoring 4 runs over the next 2 innings to make it a 5-3 game. Dutchess was able to score 3 more runs in the bottom of the 5th to take a 6-5 lead into the late innings of the game. In the end Dutchess was unable to hold on the lead, for the Falcons Tyler VanDebogart and Paul Andrews had 3 hits each while Vincent Schara, Evan Acevedo, and Dominic Marino all drove in 2 runs. DCC will take on Adirondack CC Thursday April 27th in a Doubleheader.
