Selden, New York - In the second game of the season, the Falcons were defeated in conference action 5-2 against Suffolk Community College. Lauryn Aloia scored two goals. With the loss, the Dutchess Women's Soccer team record is 0-2-0 (0-1-0). The Falcons return Sunday, September 9 against FIT. The game will kick off at 1 pm at Kingsborough Community College. "Going into the second game of the season I wasn't sure what to expect. I knew we had a good team and it was a matter of us clicking. We went into the game with a positive mindset but the end result wasn't what we wanted. We came together as a team and refocused on what we wanted to do and accomplish moving forward. We're excited for the rest of the season and to show exactly what we're capable of doing," Elizabeth Rolleri said. Kristy Garcia added, "although the match didn't end in our favor we still came together. After falling short as a team, we had a heart to heart with one another. This showed us that we are only strong when working as one."
