Falcons beat Kingsborough

Brooklyn, New York - In the sixth game of the season, the Falcons won in conference action 8-0 against Kingsborough Community College. Irena Ciferri scored three goals, Olivia Malles scored two, and Eliza RolleriLauryn Aloia, and Emma Paszkiewicz, each had a goal. Kelsie McDowell and Jamie Acevedo shared the shutout with the support of Irena CiferriEmily Mott, and Alyssa Poteet on defense. With the win, the Dutchess Women's Soccer team record is 2-4-0 (1-2-0). The Falcons return Tuesday, September 25 against Monroe-Bronx Community College. The game will kick off at 6:30 pm at Lourdes High School. "Today our team came together and clicked on all levels. We need to keep this momentum going if we want to get the same results in our upcoming games," Eliza Rolleri said. Kelsie McDowell added, "our team stepped out onto the field with strong intensity that was consistent throughout the game and we plan to continue this for the rest of the season."
