The Dutchess Falcons Men's Soccer team was able to find their first 2 wins of the season in back-to-back games. The Falcons took down Orange County Community College on October 5th by the score of 3-2. In the game Ezequias Hoffman was able to knock in the first goal of the game to give the Falcons the lead while Dario Skura scored a brace to give the Falcons the win. In net Bryan Ramirez was able to come up with 7 saves that kept Dutchess in the lead throughout the game.  

After a big win against Orange, Dutchess moved on to face Laguardia Community in their next matchup and came out with their biggest win so far this season. The Falcons put up 13 goals over the 90 minutes and Brayan Ramirez made 6 saves to give DCC their first shutout of the season. For Dutchess 6 different players scored goals and 3 of those players put up hattricks. Ezequias Hoffman, Aidan Yereance, and Matthew Petty all scored 3 goals, Matthew Iovino scored 2 of his own with Dario Skura and Matthew Ferolito added a goal each. On the passing side of things Yereance, Hoffman, Elder Sagastume, and Akeem Alexander all had one assist with Dennis Gomez Martinez leading the team with 2 assists.  

The Falcons took on Queensborough in a hard-fought game where they ended up coming out with a 4-3 loss. Dario Skura scored a brace while Aidan Yereance added the third goal for Dutchess, Brayan Ramirez made 6 saves in goal.  

Dutchess will travel to Nassau Community College on Saturday October 14 for their next game before they wrap up their regular season on Tuesday October 17th when they host Monroe-Bronx for Sophomore Day at the Culinary Institute of America.
