For the month of November, Dutchess basketball had 2 standout performers in Region XV. Sophomore Eva Bertiz was named Region XV Athlete of the Month for Women's Basketball and Sophomore Supreme Niles was named as a Honorable Mention for the same award on the Men's side.

    Bertiz of Dutchess led all Region 15 Division III players with 21.3 points (fifth in the nation), 14.3 rebounds (top five in the country), and three blocks (No. 5 in NJCAA Division III) per game during the month of November. She led the country in total rebounds with 114. She ranks No. 2 in the nation in both total field goal percentage (46.6%) and total blocks (24). Her 170 points were the third most in NJCAA Division III. Bertiz also scored 38 points against BMCC on 11/15, the second most points by a Falcon over the last 10 years.
    Niles led the Falcons through November to a 7-1 record and the #10 ranking in the country. He averaged 17.9 points in region games to go along with 3.1 assists and 2 steals a game. The Sophomore has been the leading scorer in over 50% of the teams games and scored a season high 26 points in a win over Monroe Bronx on 11/22.
