Box Score POUGHKEEPSIE, NY - Trailing only 30-20 through two quarters, the Dutchess women's basketball team was still within reach heading into the second half. A 12-0 run by the Sullivan Community College Generals to begin the third quarter brought the Falcons attempt at a comeback to a screeching halt.
DCC made a strong rally in the fourth outscoring Sullivan 18-6, but it was all for not. Sullivan was able to distance themselves enough between a dominating second and third quarters to get the victory, 58-45. The women shot well from the field at a 43.5% clip, but it was a different story from beyond the arc going 2-12 as a team. Mix in 27 total turnovers, and the each deficit became harder and harder to overcome
