Box Score POUGHKEEPSIE, NY - Dutchess Community College fell to Hostos CC on Saturday, 110-77, despite Marsallis Faircloth putting 19 points and 6 rebounds on the board.

Both DCC and Hostos played hard, with 27 and 24 personal fouls, respectively. Faircloth paved the way for the Falcons, making 57% (4-for-7) of shots attempted while also sinking 91% (10-for-11) of free throws attempted. Guard James Sykes enjoyed a fine game, scoring 15 points for Dutchess (5-for-5). Freshman Thomas Duffy notched two three-pointers and scored six points total. Also contributing for DCC were Jamel Holmes (8 points, 2 rebounds, 1 block), Mohamed Kante (7 points), and sophomore guards Jaquan Strong (7 points, 2 rebounds) and David Flores (7 points).

Hostos shot incredibly efficient going 37-for-54 which is a cool 69% from the field, led by guard Jemal Smith who dropped 40 points including 4-of-6 from three. The Falcons turned the ball over 19 times in comparison to only 11 on the opposing side which ultimately was the difference maker in this one.

The men's basketball team travels to Kingsborough CC on Tuesday to try and erase their current losing skid.
