Box Score POUGHKEEPSIE, NY - Freshman Shaheim Fryar scored 25 points, helping Dutchess notch a 98-95 victory over Hostos Community College on Sunday.

DCC fell behind early and found themselves trailing 43-38 by the half, only to come back strong in the final two quarters.

Fryar was very efficient from the field, making 73% (11-for-15) of shots attempted.

Michael Davis also contributed 5 points and one steal. Two other players also scored in the double digits for the Falcons. Lawrence Odusanya added 18 points and Kevin Levine put up 15 points. Alfredo Robles (18 points) and Joe Langan (17 points) each drained multiple three-pointers. Odusanya was a big contributor defensively as well, racking up four rebounds and three steals.

For the game, DCC were out-rebounded and shot less efficient than their counterpart but made their shots when it counted in the second half.

The Falcons travel to the City to face Bronx Community College on Tuesday at 8 pm.
