Box Score POUGHKEEPSIE, NY - Dutchess men's basketball honored their sophomores before their final home game in Falcon Hall on Thursday, but ultimately fell to Nassau on 104-71.
Sophomore guard
Jaquan Strong made his final game at DCC count by racking up 27 points on 40% shooting (8-for-20) and making 100% (8-for-8) of free throws attempted. Fellow sophomore
David Flores tapped out at double digits, scoring 11 points for the Falcons (4-for-12). While
James Sykes (6 points, 4 rebounds) and
Davante Brown (3 points, 1 rebound) rounded things out for Dutchess' second year men.
Also chipping in for DCC were
Beau-Ryan Kershaw who hit two three-pointers and scored nine points total,
Lawrence Odusanya (9 points, 3 rebounds, 2 blocks),
Harry St. John (3 points, 1 rebound), and
Christopher Spell (3 points, 1 rebound).
The men's team will finish the season with a record of 7-22, a six win improvement from last year.
