Box Score POUGHKEEPSIE, NEW YORK – The Dutchess women's soccer team remains unbeaten after a 1-0 win over Suffolk Community College on Saturday. The Falcons record is 4-0-0.
Kaitlyn Dourado scored her first goal of the season and only goal of the match 13 minutes into play. The goal was a result of intense defensive pressure in the attacking third that resulted in a turnover in the middle of the box. Late in the match,
Jenna DiMarzo made a goal line save that preserved the Falcons lead.
"As the season progresses, my teammates never fail to impress me; the dedication that each girl possesses is evident in the way they go out and play against tough opposition. The constant hard work and commitment we put in during practice is showing off and I am excited to see what the future holds for us,"
Daisy Godoy said.
