Box Score POUGHKEEPSIE, NEW YORK – The Dutchess women's soccer team remains unbeaten after a 6-0 win over Kingsborough Community College on Saturday. The Falcons record is 5-0-0.
The Falcons came out quickly with three different players scoring.
Maritza Palacios scored her first goal of the season,
Kaitlyn Dourado scored her second goal of the season, and
Lauryn Aloia scored four goals on the day.
Jenna DiMarzo and Sarah Chang played strong in the outside midfielder positions where they were able to successfully take space and serve dangerous balls to their teammates throughout the first half.
Kristy Garcia,
Daisy Godoy, and
Taylor Peters continued to organize the defense and limited Kingsborough's chances at net.
"As we have come upon the midway point of the season, we as a team, are continuously improving. We did our best keeping positive this game and I can't wait to see us improve further,"
Jenna DiMarzo said.
Sara Chang added, "These past few weeks we've grown as a team, with all players giving 110%. We play as if we are a puzzle with all the pieces. My teammates have created a positive atmosphere where we all play to each other's strengths."
