Box Score Shaheim Fryar's 18 points propelled Dutchess Community College to a 87-66 victory over Orange Community College on Thursday. Dutchess led at the half and followed up with 49 points in the second half to strengthen their lead and put the game away for good.

Fryar wasted no time putting points on the board for DCC, scoring 12 in the first half.

Joe Langan (17 points) and Daevon Owens (11 points) each had multiple three-pointers. Three other players also racked up double digit scores for the Falcons. Ronald Rowe racked up 14 points on 50% shooting, Alfredo Robles put up 13 points while dominating the boards with 13 rebounds, and Lawrence Odusanya contributed 10 points on 5-of-6 shooting. Also chipping in for Dutchess was Steve Morant (4 points, 2 rebounds, 2 blocks).

The Falcons shot very efficiently from the field at a 55% clip while also shooting a cool 82% from the charity stripe as a team.
