Box Score In a great showing, freshman guard
Alfredo Robles scored 20 points, but this was not enough as Dutchess fell to BMCC 94-79.
Robles paved the way for the Falcons, making 44% (7-for-16) of shots attempted, sinking 80% (4-for-5) of free throws attempted, while also draining a pair of three-pointers.
Ronald Rowe also reached double digit scoring, putting up 10 points (4-for-8) for DCC.
Shaheim Fryar played very strong offensively as well, contributing 19 points while leading the team with 9 rebounds to go along with a steal and a block. Freshman
Joe Langan chimed in with 14 points, and
Daevon Owens added 8 points, while both guys each sunk multiple three-pointers. Also helping the effort for the Falcons were
Lawrence Odusanya (6 points, 4 rebounds) and
Steve Morant (2 points, 4 rebounds).
While Dutchess shot well from the field at 47%, Borough of Manhattan CC could not miss. The Panthers shot a staggering 63% from the field as a team. This was ultimately the difference in this one as several of the other game stats were comparable on both sides.
