Box Score 3 The DCC Men's Basketball Team started their 2nd half of the season with 3 wins, beating Bronx, Westchester and Suffolk. Coming into the week the Falcons were ranked 10th in the country, they moved up 3 Spots to #7 in the country.
Dutchess traveled to Bronx CC for a game on 1/20. All 17 Falcons that touched the floor scored points in their 108-74 victory. Sophomore
Elijah Cherry came off the bench to lead DCC in scoring, he finished with 15 points while shooting 50% from deep. Sophomore
Supreme Niles scored 10 points while leading the team with 3 steals. Freshman who came off the bench, led the way in both the rebounding and assists departments,
Kamrin Kendall finished with 11 rebounds including 4 offensive and
Kameron Quinn dished out 6 assists. Freshman
Shawn Jones scored 7 points and grabbed 6 rebounds, 5 on the offensive end.
The Falcons faced off against Division 2 Westchester in their second game of the week. Dutchess built a 19 point lead at the half and was able to close out a 81-73 win. Sophomore
Darrel Taylor scored a team leading 20 points while grabbing 9 rebounds off the bench. Freshman
Jordin Walker added his first double-double of the season scoring 19 points and grabbing 15 rebounds. Sophomore
Elijah Cherry added 13 points off the bench on 66.7% shooting from the field. Freshman
Kameron Quinn scored 14 points and led team with 5 steals.
To round out their week, DCC hosted Suffolk on Saturday 1/24. The Falcons more than doubled up their half time lead of 12 to win 101-74. Sophomore
Jadyn Wilson tied the highest points scored by a Falcon this season with 29. Wilson shot 80% from the floor, drained 2 three's and grabbed 13 rebounds. Freshman
Jordin Walker scored 12 points and led the team with 6 assists. Freshman
Kameron Quinn put up his first double-double of the season, scoring 10 points, grabbing 10 rebounds while also leading the team with 5 steals. Sophomore
Daniel Ogunleye scored 11 points. dished out 5 assists and grabbed 4 steals. Off the bench Sophomore

Kamrin Kendall had big performances. Cherry scored 12 points while Kendall scored 9 and grabbed 8 rebounds, 7 being on the offensive end.
Dutchess will travel to Hostos on 1/27 at 8pm, BMCC on 1/29 at 7:30pm and host Nassau on 1/31 at 3pm.
