The Dutchess Falcons Men's basketball team is nationally ranked #7 and is the #1 seed for the Region XV tournament that started on Tuesday, February 25th. DCC hosted the #8 seed Laguardia in the Quarterfinals to start the tournament. The Falcons were able to walk away with a 93-75 win to move on to the semifinals. The leading scorers for DCC both came off the bench; Sophomore Nouhoun Diarra scored 12 points, grabbed 3 rebounds and blocked 2 shots. Freshman Kameron Quinn added 12 points on his own with 4 assists and 2 steals. Freshman Jordin Walker scored 11 and came down with 3 rebounds. Freshman Shawn Jones scored 6 points and secured 5 rebounds off the bench. Sophomore Jadyn Wilson blocked 4 shots and grabbed 2 steals to lead the defensive effort. 15 different Falcons scored points in the game. DCC will travel to Suffolk CC who is hosting the Region XV Semifinals and will take on the #5 seed Hostos Caimans at 5pm on Saturday, February 28th.
