Dutchess Community College is pleased to announce the new Head Coach of Women's Basketball, Coach Tony Jackson. Coach Jackson comes to Dutchess Community College with over 25 years of coaching experience at the high school and college levels. Coach Jackson was recently Assistant Coach for the Women's Basketball program at Bryant and Stratton College of New York.

Matthew Paquet commented on Coach Jackson's hiring, "I am thrilled to have Coach Jackson on board. His first weeks on campus have been a joy to observe as he prepares Dutchess Women's Basketball for a return after a two-season hiatus. Coach Jackson and his staff are well versed on the game of basketball and are excellent instructors of the game".
Coach Jackson played high school college and professional basketball respectively. Coach Jackson has been successful at every level of the game and absolutely loves the game of basketball. Coach Jackson holds a New York State public school permanent certification in physical education.
Coach Jackson lives in Newburgh, NY and has been married to his wife Eva for over 35 years. Together they have two adult children, Samantha and Morgan, both who competed in the sport of basketball. Coach Jackson stated "I look forward to creating a positive culture that will aid to the lifetime of success of the student athletes at Dutchess Community College."
