The Dutchess Women's Basketball team heads into the break with an 8-3 record in their first season of action in 3 years.  

The team of all freshmen is led by Alexis Ochoa-Pena who for the season is averaging 16.8 points per game while also leading the team in assists and steals per game as well. On the interior, Dutchess has two players who are putting up double-doubles every game in Maya-k Johnson and Shalanda Lefevre. Lefevre averages 12.8 points per game to go along with 11 rebounds while Johnson is scoring 11.4 a game with 12.2 rebounds. Franchelis Guzman had a big game against BMCC where she put up a team high 20 points in the win.  

The Falcons will return to action on January 20th when they take on Kingsborough at 1pm in Falcon Hall on the DCC Campus.
