The DCC Women's Basketball team has returned to action for the first time since the 2019-20 season and has started their season 4-2 with a win over a nationally ranked Hostos CC in overtime. 

For the Falcons, Alexis Ochoa-Pena is the leading scorer and assister putting up 19.8 points per game and 3.2 assists per game. Shalanda Lefevre is the team's leading rebounder averaging 12.8 rebounds per game and is 2nd on the team in points per game with 14. Maya-K Johnson is also averaging a double-double with 10.8 points and 12.2 rebounds per game, Franchelis Guzman and Tiffany Gonzalez both are putting up 9 points a game to round out an impressive team wide scoring output. 

The Falcons' next game will come against Queensborough on November 30th at Falcon Hall on the DCC campus at 5:30pm.
