Dutchess Men's Basketball is the #1 seed going into the Region XV tournament.

The Falcons finished their regular season with a 21-5 record while holding opposing teams to the lowest amount of points in the region and the second lowest in the country.

DCC is led by Freshman Prince Kamate, who was the teams leading scorer in the regular season averaging 14.7 points per game and Quincey Platt, who averaged a double-double while also blocking 2.8 shots a game. Sophomore Raesean Greer sits at 241 assists through his career, which would be the highest career mark at DCC since at least 2001. He leads the Falcons this year with 4.7 assists per game while also scoring 9.3 of his own. Sophomore Sharpshooters Nashuan Johnson and Joselito Rosario both had multiple times hitting 5 or more threes in a game, Johnson finished with a season high in points for DCC in one game, against Bronx where he put up 31 and shot 90% from the field. The three most efficient players for the Falcons this year were all Freshman, Seiray Sinerna shot 59.5% from the field and averaged 10.7 points in the second half of the year. Malhiki Raymond is second on the team in blocks and rebounds while having the highest field goal percentage making 60% of his shot attempts. Joseph Battle was lights out from 3 point land shooting 47% on the year while scoring 8 points and grabbing 5 rebounds off the bench.

The Falcons will take on Kingsborough on Tuesday February 27th at Falcon Hall on the DCC Campus. The game will take place at 7pm. We hope to see everyone there for the first playoff game of the season.
