Platt finished his first season as a Falcon with the most blocks and rebounds in a season at DCC since at least 2001.
Freshman Prince Kamate was named on to the Second Team All-Region finishing the year as the Falcon's leading scorer averaging 15.4 points per game while shooting over 50% from the field. Sophomore Point Guard Raesean Greer will go down as one of the best points guards in Dutchess History. After winning the Region XV Championship his freshman year Greer finished his 2nd season as a Falcon making the Third Team All-Region while leading the team in assists and steals. Greer will finish his career dishing out the most assists as a Falcon and the most games played as a Falcon since at least 2000.
The Falcons had 3 others play their final game for the team with Nashaun Johnson, Joselito Rosario, and Nyrie Hicks all moving on after this year. Hicks was in his first year with the Falcons but provided a spark of the bench. Johnson and Rosario were members of the team for 2 years where they both made over 80 threes in their time. They both had big time performances whether it was Johnson hitting 7 threes or Rosario hitting 6 in back-to-back playoff games. All 3 of those players plus Raesean Greer put in countless hours and hard work for the Falcons. The Athletic Department would like to thank them for their time, effort and sacrifices that were made for the program and hope to see them all do well in their future endeavors.
The Athletic Department would also like to thank all fans and community members for their support and contributions to DCC Athletics. The team will look onto bigger things for the next season with the hope of bringing back the Region XV Championship and more!
